Using the database tools interface
All database tools are provided as entry points in a DLL. These entry points use the following return codes:

|---|---|
| 0 | Success |
| 1 | General failure |
| 2 | Invalid file format |
| 3 | File not found, unable to open |
| 4 | Out of memory |
| 5 | Terminated by the user |
| 6 | Failed communications |
| 7 | Missing a required database name |
| 8 | Client/server protocol mismatch |
| 9 | Unable to connect to the database server |
| 10 | Database server not running |
| 11 | Database server not found |
| 254 | Reached stop time |
| 255 | Invalid parameters on the command-line |
